LIBRARY FUND:
a special way to show
your support of CBL
A library is the center of intellectual life of an academic community. It serves both research scientists and aspiring graduate students as a tool in their quest of scholarly work and the intellectual basis for solutions to environmental problems. It also serves local area college and high school students in their educational pursuits.

Your Gift to the Library Helps support:

  • Continuing acquisition of new materials (textbooks, journals)
  • Preservation of historic research documents
  • Implementation of new information technologies

Below are some possible levels of giving for which a bookplate, with your name or the name of someone you wish to memorialize, will be permanently affixed to your Gift to the CBL Library:

$50 - $150 will purchase a book to add to CBL's environmental science collection.
$151 - $1,000 will purchase an important reference volume in one of the environmental scientific disciplines. Such reference works lead researchers to other informational sources in the scientific literature.
$1,001 - $6,000 will purchase a one-year subscription to a scientific journal.
$10,000 will endow a continuing journal subscription.
